Mess Of Blues Mess of Blues is a four piece band, two guitars, bass and drums, with the violin thrown in frequently and the mandolin occasionally.

Although having performed in their current make-up for only two years, Mike and Graham first played together thirty years ago in a band called the Bone Idols, performing mainly in France as well as in the UK.

By playing together again they have returned to their roots of blues music and combined with the experience of Don and Stephen have a band who play for the sheer enjoyment of the music.

big mamma 209x300 Big Mammas Door“London based Big Mamma’s Door play their brand of Sexy 50’s RnB with a whole lot of professionalism and love for the blues…the music is just top notch.”

“This is good old 50’s proper Rhythm & Blues, not the soul-less heart-less pop of the 00’s ; real blues with real rhythm…’Open For Business’ by Big Mamma’s Door is a slick and sensitively handled bunch of great songs – like an old friend come to stay and going over old stories but putting a new slant on them. A rich and rewarding eight track outing from a real honest-to-goodness blues band.”

Featuring up and coming guitarist Kevin Glasgow and French American singer of note eVe Buigues, the Jazz in Paris Project definitely bring us something new with their unique French interpretations of American standards, Glasgow’s original arrangements of traditional French chansons, and their unexpected renditions of hit tunes such as Bob Dylan’s Like A Rolling Stone or The Eurythmics’ Sweet Dreams. As creative as they are eclectic, The Jazz In Paris Project are bound to please the most cynical ears.”
